Dr. Luu is a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, where he directs the Quantum AI Lab and Computer Vision and Image Understanding (CVIU) Lab. He is also affiliated with the Center for Public Health and Technology and the NSF MonARK Quantum Foundry. His research focuses on Quantum Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Smart Health, Precision Agriculture, and Deep Learning.
